Hopin’ to find, we’re two of a kind.
Making a go, making it grow.
Together, we’re going to find our way.
Together, taking the time each day.
To learn all about those things you just can’t buy.
If you were hoping for another riveting installment of talking about things you can buy, we’re really sorry to disappoint you. We thought for a long time about how we should commemorate our 50th episode. Being somewhat of milestone, we wanted to do something special. As we mulled over countless podcast clichés, we decided that what we liked most about doing the cast was hearing from and about you. It’s simply human nature to be interested in other people. Have you ever looked into someone’s window and thought about what their life might be like?
Well for this episode we let you peer into our window. In other words we indulge our egos and talk about ourselves the entire time. Have you ever wondered how Mrs. McFavorite and I got into collecting? Or maybe how we even met? If not, then go ahead and tune in next week when we’ll return with all the latest and greatest toy news. However, this episode will serve as a primer for any new listeners and hopefully as a means to let our regulars get to know the love of my life and myself even better.
** UPDATE: A big thank you goes out to Jaime for reminding about the videos and pictures we said we would post. Enjoy.

Thank you so much man. Very elegantly put.
Hello Slick. I enjoy listening to your show and have always been curious about something. If you’re collecting toys for the nostalgia, why not actually collect the vintage 80’s items? You may have a $50,000 vintage collection and just never mentioned it. I just wondered about your views on collecting. You guys have an awesome show and I look forward to each episode. I would call in but wow do I have an accent. Thanks a lot
Thanks for hitting us up Bosshoggatron (exceptionally amazing handle) and thanks so much for listening. Most of my nostalgia comes from the toys I actually owned. My mom was a single mother most my life and we didn’t have much money. Needless to say, I didn’t have many toys (name brand ones at least). Luckily, I pretty much have been able to collect most of the toys I had or really really wanted.
Of course there are tons of vintage I still want, including many I have discovered only since really getting into collecting. The biggest impediment to crossing more of the vintage off the list is that today’s toys are so cool. I spend most my budget just keeping current.
Great question man. Like we say, would love to hear that accent, but understand. We appreciate you participating.
Thanks again man…Slick
Dope videos guy’s,next show all video 🙂
Hi again McFavorites. I have a few more questions for you guys. What toy is your Holy Grail of collecting? If the house was on fire what’s the one toy you would grab? And lastly, what would your fifth favorite franchise be? If you’d like to wait and answer on the Podcast that would be fine. Look forward to hearing from ya’ll.
