As much as I wanted to drop an F-bomb, I still have a problem using profanity in my writing. Don’t mind the fact that both the Mrs. and I rock them like sailors on the regular. With that out of the way, let me say it again just in case you didn’t hear me, COMIC-CON! It’s already month later and we are barely catching up. This was probably painfully evident to everyone when we released our pre-SDCC wrap up 3 weeks after the show. Timely we are not.
We had an amazing time. The Con is definitely a melee of the senses. So much to do, so much to see and the lines, wow, the lines. I constantly felt bad for the people that were upset about the lines. After last year, we were prepared and enjoyed most of our single serving friends. The best thing about this con was all the great people we were able to share our time with. It truly made it special to hang out with old friends and meet so many new ones.
You thought we tangented before, just wait. This episode actually ended being over four hours long. We took Ayleen’s advice and broke it up into parts. So this first part is the recap of the show, with blow by blow of each day’s panels, lines and drinking. In the next few days we will put out the second half of the show which consists of the normal show segments, store report, online, the ridiculous amount stuff we (or like Mrs. McFavorite points out, I) got at the show, listener communications and grab bag.
As I promised in the last episode and referenced several times during the show, here are links to photos and videos of SDCC past and present. First up to wet your whistle are last year’s Flickrs and YouTubes (booths and panels ). If want to live in the now, (well, kinda) you can check 2009’s photos and videos . We hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed taking them. We are definitely going to figure out how to make this an annual thing, so we hope to meet some of you next year.

Connnnnnnnnn…Slick
Jaime’s comment’s part 1:-love the out’tro and at 2 hours & 25 minutes it was a great way to go out, o’DAM you guy’s talk about Twilight for a only a few minutes DAM IT!
Line’s thoes Fucking Comic con line’s, sound’s like it was worth the wait?.
I always say, lines build character. When I was kid, we had to stand lines uphill both ways.
Mrs. McFavorite says we can talk about Twilight as much as you want. She’s even down to do a whole Twilight episode just for you.
First off a Twilight show would be the Best’est show of show’s of all the time’s,and in other new’s Superman is real, jaime’s to star in Transformer’s 3 & 4 and Daniel Craig sing’s on to play Catwomen in next Batman film!.
So you got so V action very cool, luv that shit ,can’t wait to see it! but Living down here i’ll have to wait for dvd, fuck my contrary, I’m a big big fan of Smallville and love Supergirl and BIG fan of Laura Vandervoort who play’s Supergirl & is in the new V remake.
Trick’r Treat Look’s insane i’ve been hearing Great thing’s, a 9.1 out of 10 0n IMDB & Brian Cox, should get it down here sometime in 2017!.
Chuck is a cool show you guy’s shuold totaly check it out & from what i know the G4 shit was pissing everyone off left & right.
It’s crazy how Twilight is crack for teenage girls and women in their late 20’s and on. I support Jesica’s fandom in any way though. Considering she has done the same for me.
As far as V goes, I was skeptical, but it turned out pretty good. Do you not get the same TV down there?
Smallville and Chuck are a couple of those geeky things we missed. We hope to start from the beginning some day. However, I have heard that Supergirl is haought!
Do you not get movies at the same time either? I guess we are so ignorant when it comes to foreign countries, please school us.
In regard to SW Spectacular, I have not heard one cast/person say they liked it. That pretty insane considering the amount of fandom I monitor.
Sorry if i come off like an ASS when talking about Twilight i’m just mess’in with jes(with one S) I have a 15 year old sister so i know all about Twilight I hear about it every FREAK’in day so when i make fun of jes it’s in a playfull kind’a way I DON’T mean any bad mo’jo & Smallville and Chuck Geeky ? NO!, But Smallville is worth picking up, Buy season one skip 2 & 3,(there good but not that re-watchabull)then season’s 4,5,6,7, and 8 (witch we’ve still to get Down Under)are all in-sane-smok’in hot babe’s, supervillain’s and the birth of Superman this might be the best show of all time?.
No worries homie. Jesica gets harassed about Twilight by most guys she knows. What’s funny is almost every woman she knows loves it. We never take anything too seriously. Life is too short. Don’t ever worry about speaking your mind. We appreciate that more than anything else.
In regard to Chuck and Smallville, geeky is used as a term of endearment. Can’t wait to dig into Smallville. I’ll have to see where I can get season one the cheapest.
Didn’t get Part 2 edited tonight. Too busy with the shed and painting our kitchen. Hopefully tomorrow night.
Dude, I’m Look’in forwould to it.
When the Hell do you sleep?
Weta Works is New Zealand Brother! we wish it was an Aussie Fx house.
That’s right, I just remember it is was a place where the toilet drained the other way.
Dude are you saying i’m a Toilet?
Cut into this show & i liked it!.
