As much as I wanted to drop an F-bomb, I still have a problem using profanity in my writing. Don’t mind the fact that both the Mrs. and I rock them like sailors on the regular. With that out of the way, let me say it again just in case you didn’t hear me, COMIC-CON! It’s already month later and we are barely catching up. This was probably painfully evident to everyone when we released our pre-SDCC wrap up 3 weeks after the show. Timely we are not.

We had an amazing time. The Con is definitely a melee of the senses. So much to do, so much to see and the lines, wow, the lines. I constantly felt bad for the people that were upset about the lines. After last year, we were prepared and enjoyed most of our single serving friends. The best thing about this con was all the great people we were able to share our time with. It truly made it special to hang out with old friends and meet so many new ones.

You thought we tangented before, just wait. This episode actually ended being over four hours long. We took Ayleen’s advice and broke it up into parts. So this first part is the recap of the show, with blow by blow of each day’s panels, lines and drinking. In the next few days we will put out the second half of the show which consists of the normal show segments, store report, online, the ridiculous amount stuff we (or like Mrs. McFavorite points out, I) got at the show, listener communications and grab bag.

As I promised in the last episode and referenced several times during the show, here are links to photos and videos of SDCC past and present. First up to wet your whistle are last year’s Flickrs and YouTubes (booths and panels ). If want to live in the now, (well, kinda) you can check 2009’s photos and videos . We hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed taking them. We are definitely going to figure out how to make this an annual thing, so we hope to meet some of you next year.
