I don’t know if you have ever been in a hospital or dealt with medical professionals in regard to pain, but they like to use a scale of 1 to 10. I had never broken a bone, been admitted to a hospital, let alone rode in an ambulance and been taken to the ER. Since we recorded this cast, I’ve done all four. By the time you read this, I will have a fifth and sixth milestone under my belt. I will have anesthesia and full-blown surgery. Back to the pain scale, I also have a new definition for what 10 is like. It involves heavy breathing, a death grip, shaking, and full on crying. I got to do all of that and then some. I used to think I had a pretty high tolerance for pain. Yeah, not anymore. I am quite the wimp, just ask Lil’ Miss McFavorite and Mrs. McFavorite.
The most powerful con in the universe is getting another installment this year. Along with the announcement, Val and the gang over at He-Man.org have released almost every panel from last year. While not as informational, but certainly more exciting, new G1 reissues have been announced. Perhaps the most well-received is Soundwave and Buzzsaw. If you’re more of a Star Wars person and you’ve made the flip to 6 inch, you’re probably just as excited for General Grievous. If you’re a Joe fan, you have absolutely nothing to be excited about.
