  8. Listener Feedback and Questions

    • Marvin’s Question
    • Engineernerd’s Question: You guys are really plugged into a number of fandoms and thought you might be the perfect ones to pontificate on this. I was doing a little internet research for something, and I noticed there aren’t really any Barbie collector’s sites that are the equivalent of the major review sites for other lines. At least none that are readily apparent with Google.

Most seem to revolve around some sort of buying and selling component or exist purely to capitalize on ad revenue. I find this odd, since I’m sure Barbie collectors outnumber some of the lines we all hold dear.

Are we just crazier? Or do we enjoy our hobby for the love of and want to share with everybody? Even 12″ GI Joe’s that haven’t got much shelf space in recent years as the pink aisle girl seem to have much more website love. I’ve also found it odd that I’ve never heard of a husband who collects Star Wars or GI Joe with a wife who collects Barbie.

    • Bos Hoggatron’s Question: Did you ever think of having a vintage only episode and give your thoughts on all the old school stuff like Super Powers, M.A.S.K., Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Thundercats, Centurions etc.?
