- AAA: Hello Guys, Hope you all are enjoying this fantastic holiday season. The other day, I was thinking the the word “nostalgia” from a conversation I had with Mr. Slick and… …why do we buy expensive toys to get our nostalgia kicks? We can certainly get this feeling from an old song/music, movies, and even from an old book. Why spend hundreds of dollars on toys to get this nostalgia feeling? mp3 80’s music and old movie downloads definitely don’t cost that much to get this feeling. Your thoughts gentlemen. (from convo) Asian collecting habits all about the newest and greatest. Ultimate versions of character.
- Lotus Stark: Sucks that Swage left the show. (RE: Our latest show) I really like the flow of it. I find it funny at times like when Slick tells Vern to shut down his blower because of the noise it’s producing. Slick was like it doesn’t bother me and then he says damm that’s loud hahaha. Vern don’t worry your mic sounds better than the old one even if it does pickup other room noises now. Well fun show guys.
- Kass: I wanted to post a few things about the Star Wars 6 inch black series or rant maybe 🙂 I really like this line a lot. But my biggest complaint is the face apps/painting/deco or whatever you want to call it on the human characters. After I saw the Luke A New Hope figure I got a little Fett up (see what i did there?). I finally broke down and bought my first SH Figuarts figure. The Luke A New Hope figure. I really like the face sculpt/deco compaired to the black series. And those pajama robes on the black series really turned me off. The Figuarts figure is just sculpted and looks a lot better imho. I wanted to get all yours opinions on the face decos on the 6 inch line. Would you pay a little extra to have said face decos look better. I still feel a little regret for spending all that money on a Figuarts 🙁 Sorry for the long rant and keep up the great podcasts!
